How can I pay?

You can pay with iDeal (pay online with your bank card) or by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Usually it is cheaper to pay with iDeal.

How does seating plan booking work?

Seating plan booking allows our customers to purchase exactly the seat(s) they want at a specific event. Study the overview plan in the first window and click on the area where you would like to sit. You are taken to a detailed view displaying individual seats. You may select any seats which are marked in colour. A seat's colour indicates its price category. An overview of the price categories is displayed on the right. Seats marked in grey have already been assigned. Once you have clicked on a seat it is marked with a cross, and appears in the selection list under the main window. If you click on a seat for a second time, or click the trash symbol in the selection list, the seat is deleted from your list. Once you have finally selected your seats, click the shopping basket button. This takes you to your shopping basket, from where you can proceed to complete your order. We're sorry, but it is not possible to book seats in different price categories as part of the same order.

Why can I no longer select the seats I wanted after an unsuccessful booking procedure?

After an unsuccessful attempt to order using seating plan booking, the seats you attempted to select will show as reserved for another 30 to 60 minutes, and thus cannot be selected again during this period.

One hour later at most, you can make a new attempt to place your order. As a precaution, please first visit the "My Eventim" area of our website and check whether you have in fact already successfully ordered the tickets you wanted.

What does "Not currently available" mean?

If you receive a "Not currently available" message, this means the ticket quota available to us is currently exhausted.

We always attempt to obtain new ticket quotas and would ask you to check back regularly on our website. This message will appear even when we are informed no more tickets are available at source. We cannot rule out continuing ticket availability at one or more regional sales outlets, so we do not mark the category or event as "sold out".

Why can I not specify a quantity greater than 1?

This means the only tickets left in the desired price category are single, non-adjacent seats. If you require more than a single ticket, please check the availability of adjacent seating in a different price category.

I have forgotten my log-in details

Please use the "Forgotten your password?" function on the home page to have your password and user name sent to you. You must use the e-mail address you submitted on registering.

Data protection

We regard protecting our clients' personal data as a fundamental and utmost priority.

We do require your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and payment details. These data are essential for your order to be processed. We guarantee your data will be handled confidentially and will only ever be passed on to third parties where this is necessary to execute your order. Furthermore, information required solely to process payments will be deleted from our database immediately the order is completed. Data which have been saved may be reviewed and amended at any time.

Can I cancel or re-book tickets?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate this request from customers. At the moment of booking, your tickets are immediately and irrevocably removed from the booking system and can no longer be returned to the system afterwards. This rules out re-selling any such tickets to other customers via our system. For this reason, you are explicitly reminded of the binding nature of your order during the ordering procedure.

Naturally, you are absolutely free to re-sell your tickets to friends and acquaintances, as they are not personalised.

Was my order successful?

If you wish to check whether your order was successfully received by our system, follow the link to the "My eventim" area and check the current status of your order(s).

A link to "My Eventim" can be found on the top menu bar of our website. Follow this link as far as "Your orders". Click this link to view your orders and their current status.

Orders marked as "received" have successfully arrived with us and will be processed as soon as possible.

Orders marked as "in progress" are currently being processed and will be sent to you as soon as possible.

Orders marked as "sent" have already been dispatched to you.

Orders marked as "cancelled" unfortunately failed to reach us successfully and will not be processed!

Clicking on the order number displays full details of your order and the delivery and invoicing addresses.

Is there any possibility of adding a seat or seats to seats I have already booked?

Provided you know exactly which seats you have booked, you can book adjoining seats on either side online by submitting a new order. However, you cannot change or cancel an existing order.

Why was my order cancelled?

In the extremely rare event that our Web Shop automatically cancels your order, you will normally receive an online message. Automatic cancellation is most often caused by invalid credit card details. Please be sure to enter the credit card number without spaces. Please double check whether you have correctly entered both the credit card number and the control number (CVV). In a very few cases, elevated security settings on your computer may make it impossible to pay by credit card. If this is the case, please use bank transfer for your payment.

I have bought my tickets at a local sales outlet

In this case, we must ask you to direct questions regarding the status of your order, and any change of address requirements, to the relevant sales outlet. The outlet will be able to accommodate changes of address in advance of ticket despatch.

Information about will call

Tickets ordered with delivery type "will call" are not sent by mail. Instead, these tickets can be collected directly from the box office or other defined collection point on the day of the event.

If will call is selectable for a ticket, this type of order is possible. Select "will call" as "mode of delivery" in the shopping cart.

If you have ordered your tickets by will call, you can generally collect them directly from the box office on the day of the event. For this purpose, you require the personal collection code that you were sent by email.

Should the collection point not coincide with the usual box office of the venue, this is pointed out on the data control page, the receipt page as well as the confirmation email.

What is a ticketdirect and how do I get a ticketdirect?

What is a ticketdirect?

A ticketdirect is like a traditional paper ticket and allows you admission to concerts, theatres, sports or other events. You receive your tickets immediately by printing them out, which allows for short-term booking.

Where and when can I purchase a ticketdirect?
After selecting an event for booking and entering the desired number of tickets, click onto the link "Add to shopping cart". In the shopping cart view, please select the shipping type ticketdirect and then click onto the button "recalculate."

What technical prerequisites does my computer need to meet in order to use Ticketdirect?
In order to be able to print out ticketdirect, you require the Adobe Acrobat Reader (from Version 6.0.1), which you can download here. For printout, please use normal white DIN A4 format paper. Take care to ensure a high-quality printout. Avoid using the economy mode as well as the stripy printout of an inkjet printer. Printout should be done between a size of 93% and 100%.

I have lost my tickets

We are not able to re-issue original tickets for which you have acknowledged receipt. Unfortunately, reprinting or any other form of re-issue is also impossible. Event tickets are unique, copy-proof, transferable commercial paper (i.e. payable to bearer) and are manufactured from special, forgery-proof materials featuring a security hologram. Losing a ticket is comparable to losing a bank note, which similarly cannot be reprinted. Admission to the event will only be permitted by the promoter and local security service on production of an original ticket.

My tickets have been damaged

The tickets you received are valuable original documents which cannot be re-issued. We are unable to print your tickets a second time. However, provided the relevant security elements (event ID, seat ID, barcode, hologram) are visible and legible, we do not envisage problems when you arrive at the event. Please direct any further questions to our customer service team.

What is seating plan booking/stadium seat selection?

We provide customers with seating plan booking at a number of events. The system allows you to purchase exactly the seat(s) you want. By contrast to the "best seat principle", in which the system automatically chooses the best available adjacent seats in the chosen price category at the moment you book, seating plan booking displays an online graphic of the venue seating plan, allowing you to select your seats and book them immediately.

Why am I unable to book seats using seating plan booking for my chosen event?

As a rule, we only offer seating plan booking for events with numbered seats or a large number of seating blocks. If seating plan booking is not available, please use our normal "best seat" booking system, which automatically assigns you the best available seats in your chosen price category at the moment you book.

What are the system requirements for my computer if I wish to use seating plan booking?

Depending on your browser's security settings, you may see a dialogue containing a security warning. Click "yes" to proceed with the install, and follow the instructions in the install programme.

For more information about the Java plug-in from San and how to install the plug-in, click here. If you access the internet with an analogue modem, the seating plan graphic many take several minutes to load. Please be patient!

What should I see in the main window (selection window) in seating plan booking?

The main window initially displays an overview of the venue. Click on the desired seating block to enlarge that area. You may return to the overview display at any time by using the back button above the main window. Some of our seating plans indicate the number of seats remaining in a given seating block in the overview display. The availability function can be toggled on and off using the "show/hide availability" button.

What should I see in the overview window in seating plan booking?

The overview window to the top right always displays an overview of the venue. For large venues an overview of the selected seating block will also be displayed directly underneath.
