Ari Eldjárn is Iceland's best-known comedian and one of the most successful Scandinavian stand-up comedians of his generation. Renowned for his sharp observations, dry wit and intelligent storytelling, he transforms cultural differences, language, family life and everyday situations into universally relatable comedy. Ari has performed to sold-out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and London's Soho Theatre. He has shared the stage with comedians including Bill Burr, Ari Shaffir and Ed Byrne, and became the first Icelandic comedian to release a Netflix stand-up special with Pardon My Icelandic, recorded live at the National Theatre of Iceland.
