PAUW

PAUW is a Dutch psychedelic rock band led by Brian Pots and Rens Ottink. Blending 1960s and 1970s psychedelia, blues, krautrock and contemporary indie influences, the group emerged as one of the standout acts of the Dutch psychedelic rock revival. Their timeless sound, driven by expansive guitars, hypnotic grooves and dreamy melodies, has earned them a loyal following both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Following the release of their acclaimed debut album Macrocosm Microcosm, PAUW quickly established itself as one of the Netherlands’ most exciting guitar bands. The group became the most-booked act in Popronde history before going on to perform sold-out club shows, European tours and festivals including Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole, Bospop and Paris Psych Fest.

PAUW’s strength lies in combining nostalgic influences with a contemporary edge. Songs such as Shambhala, Visions and High Tide introduced psychedelic rock to a new generation of listeners and cemented the band's reputation as one of the most compelling live acts of its era.

After a lengthy hiatus, PAUW returned to the stage with new music and renewed energy. What remains unchanged is their passion for powerful songwriting, expansive jams and immersive musical journeys where psychedelic rock, imagination and freedom come together.
