The mystery of the evening: the body in the Louvre
1958, Paris, the post-war era. For years, Valerie La Voyante has been hosting a reception at the Louvre for all the leading art historians.
Champagne is served, and elegantly dressed waiters circulate with hors d’oeuvres. No one from high society wants to miss this event.
Art-loving ladies and gentlemen gather here to admire the art. Everyone is celebrating in high spirits. Until Madame La Voyante announces the startling news that the famous “Mona Lisa” is a forgery. The crowd is shocked. The police are called in immediately to get to the bottom of the case.
Just as the crowd begins to calm down, even more shocking news follows: a body!
