Biography - Alex Ploeg

Alex Ploeg is een Nederlandse cabaratier en stand-upcomedian. Na het winnen van enkele cabaretfestivals, waaronder het Amsterdams Studenten Cabaret Festival in 2011, Griffioen Zuidplein Cabaret Festival 2012, meldde hij zich aan bij het comedygezelschap Comedytrain - inmiddels Toomler. Na zijn derde auditie werd hij toegelaten.

Sindsdien is hij regelmatig te zien in het theater van Comedytrain/Toomler. Daarnaast is hij regelmatig te zien in verschillende televisieprogramma's als Foute Vrienden, De Grote Improvisatieshow en Klikbeet. In 2018 stond hij in theaters met zijn eerste solovoorstelling genaamd Ultimatum. Hij maakte in 2019 de overstap van Hekwerk theaterproducties naar Breijwerk impresariaat en management van Claudia de Breij.
