The Libéma Open is an international tennis tournament held in Rosmalen. The matches such as men's and women's and doubles tournament are played on the outdoor courts of the Autotron. The tournament attracts top tennis players and visitors from the Netherlands and abroad every year. The men's singles tournament is currently part of the ATP World Tour 250 and the women's singles tournament is part of the WTA International Tournaments Series. In the past, Lleyton Hewitt, Sjeng Schalken, David Ferrer, Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin, among others, won the international tournament in Rosmalen.
The first edition took place in 1989 and was a demonstration tournament in which eight international tennis players participated. Miloslav Mečíř, gold medalist at the 1988 Olympics, won on the grass courts of the Autotron. In 1990, the tournament was part of the newly founded ATP Tour. Here Amos Mansdorf won the tournament. In 1996, women's singles and doubles were also added to the tournament. Anke Huber was the first tournament winner, while the duos Hlasek/Stich (men) and Neiland/Schultz (women) triumphed in the doubles tournaments.
Up to and including 2014, the tournament was organized a week before Wimbledon and served as a preparatory tournament for Wimbledon. As of 2015, it is organized a week after Roland Garros and is still considered a preparation for Wimbledon.
In the past it has known different names, including the Ricoh Open and Unicef Open, since 2018 the official name is Libéma Open.
