Road Rock 2026

Road Rock is a Belgian music festival founded in 2016 by Geert Lefevre and Bart Denauw, driven by a shared passion for live music. What started as a small-scale initiative in Kortrijk quickly grew into a well-established name within the Flemish festival scene.

From the very beginning, Road Rock has focused strongly on discovering and supporting new talent. Through the annual Live Music Contest, emerging bands from across Flanders are given the opportunity to showcase themselves. Three winners are selected and receive a professional recording and technical support at North Garden Studio’s (known for collaborations with artists such as Tamino and Balthazar), complemented by promotional support from the festival. Finalists also get the chance to perform live on the Road Rock stage.

Over the years, Road Rock has welcomed both new talent and established names such as Dave Evans, Dotan, Admiral Freebee and Channel Zero.

Today, the Road Rock festival takes place annually at the Vlaskouter in Kuurne, a green and atmospheric location where music, good vibes and experience come together. With a diverse line-up, colorful food trucks and a strong focus on live music, Road Rock has become a must-visit for festivalgoers in Flanders.
