Biography - Sem Gerritsma

Sem Gerritsma volde de opleiding Muziektheater op de Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten waar ze in 2021 afstudeerde. Tijdens haar schooltijd volgde ze lessen van o.a. Edward Hoepelman en Ingrid Zeegers en werkte ze met regisseurs als Daniël Cohen en Paul Eenens.

In haar laatste jaar speelde ze de rol van Fay Apple in de voorstelling Anyone can Whistle onder de regie van Koen van Dijk. In oktober en november 2021 speelde Sem in een concertante versie van Little Women als Amy en sinds oktober van dat jaar in de voorstelling Soldaat van Oranje als ensemble/ understudy Tessa. Verder is ze te zien in de KRO-NCRV webserie Flexe Meiden.

In 2023 speelt Gerritsma de rol van Cosette in de musical Les Misérables.
