Biografie - Social Distortion

Social Distortion is een Amerikaanse rockband uit Fullerton, Californië, opgericht in 1978 door frontman Mike Ness. De band combineert punkrock met invloeden uit rootsrock en country en staat bekend om eerlijke, doorleefde teksten over het leven, rebellie en verlies. Met albums als Social Distortion (1990) en Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell (1992) en klassiekers als “Story of My Life” en “Ball and Chain” groeide de band uit tot een vaste waarde binnen de punk- en rockscene. Tot op de dag van vandaag staat Social Distortion bekend om haar authentieke sound en krachtige liveshows.
