DJ Maurice

DJ Maurice (Maurice Huismans) is one of the most iconic and successful party DJs from the Netherlands, known for his long-standing impact on the party and après-ski scene. His career began in 1997 as resident DJ at the Après Skihut in Rotterdam, where he was responsible for the popular Après Skihut CDs — a series of party compilations that sold over 1 million copies and earned him multiple gold records. With a repertoire of more than 300 productions, DJ Maurice effortlessly moves between party music, club and dance tracks, and has been involved in major hits such as “Hands Up (Baby Hands Up),” “Shirt Uit en Zwaaien” and “De Vloer is Lava.” In addition to his own success as a DJ, Maurice is also a respected producer and songwriter, collaborating with artists such as Snollebollekes, Jan Smit, Gerard Joling, Wolter Kroes and Gebroeders Ko. Over the years, DJ Maurice has performed at countless festivals, events and clubs both nationally and internationally, from winter sports resorts to major summer festivals and Oktoberfests.
