Kensington is a Dutch rock band known for the hits War, Uncharted, Do I Ever and Sorry. Jason Dowd is the new singer of Kensington. He grew up in Louisiana, but moved to Los Angeles to pursue his music career. The musicians tracked him down when a demo from Jason came to them. The band consists of Jason Dowd (singer), Casper Starreveld (guitar & vocals), Jan Haker (bassist) and Nils Vandenberg (drummer).
The band originated in 2005 in Utrecht. Kensington has released five studio albums to date: Borders, Vultures, Rivals, Controland Timewith several < i>Top40hits.
The boys' trophy cabinet is quite full. They won several 3FM awards, MTV EMAs, Edisons and, to top it all off, the Pop Prize 2017. After so much appreciation from the Dutch public, a trip abroad is of course inevitable. The men recorded a single with Armin van Buuren, Heading up High, and that ensured that they also became known outside Europe.
