Liberty DeVitto

Liberty DeVitto is an American rock drummer who achieved worldwide fame as the regular drummer for singer-songwriter Billy Joel. From the mid-1970s through the 2000s, he played a vital role in Joel's studio recordings and international tours. His powerful, direct playing style can be heard on iconic albums like Turnstiles, The Stranger, 52nd Street, Glass Houses, and An Innocent Man. Over three decades, DeVitto has become a fixture in the rock music world, contributing to millions of albums sold.
