Måneskin

Måneskin has released two albums since the start of their music career in 2016. After a successful participation in the television program 'X Factor' in 2017, the band had a definitive breakthrough with the Italian audience with their album Il ballo della vita. The win of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 put Måneskin on the map worldwide as the most popular rock band of the moment – a dream come true for the Italian rockers who started out as street musicians in Rome. The band's distinctive name comes from the Danish word for ' moonshine' – a nod to bassist Victoria De Angelis' Danish heritage. The band is praised for their reboot of authentic rock 'n' roll with raw lyrics and striking expressions, on social media and during sold-out live shows. The band aptly describes itself as a 'modern translation of traditional rock music' and therefore cannot be placed in one box.
