The Musical Awards Gala is the annual highlight for everyone who loves Dutch musical theatre. This spectacular gala celebrates the best performances from the world of musical theatre, from actors and singers to directors, choreographers and creative teams. The evening revolves around glamour, music and emotion, with live performances from the biggest productions of the moment. The awards, better known as the Musical Awards, are presented in various categories, including Best Musical, Best Leading Role and Best New Production.
What makes the Musical Awards Gala so special is the combination of show, talent and pride. It is a festive evening where the Dutch musical theatre sector comes together to celebrate the profession and showcase the power of theatre to a wide audience. Year after year, the gala provides a stage for well-known names and new talent, broadcast live on television and always good for impressive performances.
