Since 1995, guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer, and composer Terence Hansen has been performing with great enthusiasm across the United States and Europe. He performs his own original compositions alongside well-known standards and classics, blending his vocals with a unique legato tapping technique executed on two guitar necks simultaneously.
Terence plays custom-built acoustic and electric guitars featuring crossed necks—designs he developed in collaboration with Jos van Oost, Richard Heeres, and, more recently, with KLOS Guitars for a carbon-fiber version.
His unconventional playing style can be heard on recordings featuring renowned musicians—such as Tom Scott (Joni Mitchell), Hugh McDonald (Bon Jovi), and Deodato (Earth, Wind & Fire)—as well as in film soundtracks, commercials, and various other projects.
With fifteen solo albums of original material and headlining appearances at international festivals, he demonstrates both exceptional craftsmanship and extensive stage experience. It is no surprise that he has served as an opening act for artists such as Robert Palmer, Jennifer Batten, Gary Hoey, Neil Zaza, and Bumblefoot. Terence has received numerous accolades, including titles like "Best Independent Live Artist" and "Guitarist of the Year."
This evening, Terence presents an intimate, focused performance where technique and emotion converge. With surprising arrangements, virtuosic guitar work, and a diverse repertoire that will appeal to fans of both technical mastery and melodic, evocative music, he is set to fill the space with a sense of wonder!
