Shanna behaalde in 2017 haar bachelor voor musicaltheater en dans aan het Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts in Amsterdam. In 2021 slaagt zij cum laude voor master of music aan het Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. Tijdens haar studie werd zij gecast voor The Bodyguard de musical. Twee jaar later was zij te zien in Gloria Estefan's musical On Your Feet! Met dezelfde show maakte ze haar debuut op West End in London Coliseum. Na haar masteropleiding speelde zij in Aladdin de musical als cover Jasmine.
Naast haar carrière in het theater, is zij ook actief als lead vocalist binnen de muziekindustrie en maakt deel uit van de meidengroep Magnolia Road. Daarnaast is zij stemactrice, presentatrice en model.
