A Musical Homage to Ludovico Einaudi
Some music needs no words to tell a story. The works of Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi resonate through their unique blend of simplicity and emotional depth. Subtle melodies, hypnotic rhythms, and refined harmonies create a world filled with tranquility, longing, and beauty—music that seems to bring time itself to a standstill.
Simple Music Ensemble World brings one of its most beautiful and beloved programs to Amsterdam: an intimate musical homage to Ludovico Einaudi. Through distinctive chamber music arrangements, these well-known compositions take on a new dimension. The warm tones of the piano and string instruments bring the music to life in a personal and direct way.
In the atmospheric setting of the Kompaszaal—where the audience and musicians are brought into close proximity—a special space is created for listening, feeling, and briefly escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life.
This concert is part of the "SME House Amsterdam by Kompaszaal" series. Simple Music Ensemble World is an international chamber music project that unites professional musicians, exceptional venues, and carefully curated programs.
Please note: This concert features works by Ludovico Einaudi, performed by Simple Music Ensemble World. Ludovico Einaudi himself will not be performing and will not be present.
