STELLAE LYING-DOWN CONCERT - EINAUDI'S UNDERWATER AN AUDIOVISUAL TOTAL EXPERIENCE AT FABRIQUE DES LUMIÈRES

On Thursday, May 14, 2026, we return with Einaudi’s album Underwater. Performed live by concert pianist Bernd van den Bos amidst the visual exhibition The Sea at Fabrique des Lumières.

Lie on your own mat or air mattress and let yourself be fully immersed. Float among projections of glowing jellyfish, churning depths, and majestic orcas, and enjoy live piano music.

Fabrique des Lumières

At Fabrique des Lumières, you don’t look at art: you step into it. Gigantic projections fill the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. Sound moves along with the image. Everything around you is alive. What normally hangs in a frame on the wall becomes an experience here that you walk through. You don't just see art, you feel it.

At this location in the old Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, every exhibition transforms into a total audiovisual experience.

Exhibition: The Sea

Join us into the magical depths of the ocean and see the fascinating underwater world. Drift along with turtles, float among bioluminescent jellyfish, and become part of the orcas. Never before have you seen so many spectacular sea creatures from such close proximity, lying on your own mat or air mattress.

In this immersive exhibition ‘The Sea’, you take a journey through the wondrous underwater world of our oceans and discover sea creatures from different habitats.

De ligconcerten vinden plaats op de meest bijzondere locaties in Nederland. Denk aan de historische Koepelgevangenissen in Arnhem, de imposante Werkspoorkathedraal en het oude Postkantoor in Utrecht, de Martinikerk in Groningen en het iconische Radio Kootwijk. En niet te vergeten, het Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam.
