Stillbirth is a German extreme metal band from Hagen, founded in 1999 by guitarist (later vocalist) Lukas Swiaczny. The band is known for its explosive blend of brutal death metal, slam, deathcore and grindcore, a style they sometimes playfully describe as “brutal surf death metal.”
Since their early releases, Stillbirth has built a strong reputation within the international metal scene. With albums such as Plakative Aggression, Endgame Is Near, Global Error, Annihilation of Mankind and more recent releases like Homo Deus and Survival Protocol, the band continues to push the boundaries of extreme metal.
After more than two decades, thousands of shows and appearances at festivals around the world, Stillbirth is known for intense live performances packed with blast beats, crushing grooves and mosh-pit-ready slams; a relentless experience for fans of extreme metal.
