Pink Floyd are no longer together, but The Australian Pink Floyd Show comes as close as you can get to the experience of seeing them live. Over more than 20 years, the band members have perfected their live show to an extraordinary degree. They even use equipment from the original band. The Australian Pink Floyd Show was founded in 1988, but their breakthrough came in 1993 at the ‘International Pink Floyd Fan Convention’ at the Wembley Convention Centre.
In the years that followed, the band continued to improve, the show became more elaborate and the highlights more numerous. The tribute band not only performs Pink Floyd’s songs to perfection, but also presents a show whose video projections and psychedelic lighting are every bit as impressive as the shows Pink Floyd themselves performed years ago. In fact, the band is so faithful to its idols that David Gilmour personally invited them to perform at his 50th birthday celebration.
