The Belgian Quo Band (BQB) was founded in the summer of 2007 by Frank Vandaele and his son Erwin, inspired by a live performance of the legendary British rock band Status Quo. What started as a project dedicated to performing Status Quo classics soon evolved into a full-scale tribute experience, complete with a recognisable stage setup and authentic rock atmosphere.
Over the years, the band has grown into a dynamic rock act, performing in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and beyond, appearing at numerous national and international festivals. In 2014, Belgian Quo Band stepped in to replace Status Quo for several shows, and during their 15th anniversary celebrations they even shared the stage with Status Quo members Leon Cave and Richie Malone.
With their high-energy performances and passion for classic rock, Belgian Quo Band continues to unite the “Quo Family” with timeless hits such as Down Down, Caroline and Rockin’ All Over the World.
