The Flexican is the stage name of Thomás Goethals, an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer with Mexican roots. Born in Mexico City and educated at the School of Audio Engineering in Amsterdam, he developed into a technically versatile musician with an exceptional sense of rhythm, energy and musical diversity.
Over the years, The Flexican has built a strong reputation as one of the Netherlands’ most eclectic DJs. His sets move effortlessly between hip-hop, R&B, house, techno, Afro-inspired sounds and global club music, captivating dance floors and festival audiences alike.
International recognition followed in 2013 with the global hit Watch Out For This (Bumaye), produced together with FS Green. After being picked up by Major Lazer, the track became a worldwide success and firmly established The Flexican on the international stage.
