As composers Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix developed their musical potential, they turned to Two Steps From Hell in 2006. They are specialized in music for the film industry, with a focus on movie trailers, a type of music that needs certain themes, but also needs to have an immediate effect. Their work appeared in the trailers of such sagas as Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Trek and many more. In the beginning, Two Steps From Hell only made music for commercial use, but after continued growth, they released a collection of their greatest hits in May 2010 through the album Invincible.
