Biography - Ward van Klinken
Ward van Klinken is een frisse naam binnen de wereld van Nederlandse musicals. In 2025 stond hij volop in de spotlights met zijn hoofdrol in Dear Evan Hansen, de eerste Nederlandse versie van de bekende Broadwaymusical. Als Evan liet Ward zien dat hij niet alleen een sterke zangstem heeft, maar ook het talent om een emotioneel en complex personage geloofwaardig neer te zetten. Zijn spel voelde oprecht en wist veel mensen in het theater te raken.
Ward begon zijn carrière na zijn opleiding aan een bekende theateropleiding, waar hij zijn passie voor muziektheater verder ontwikkelde. Sindsdien werkt hij stap voor stap aan zijn plek in de theaterwereld en kiest hij vooral voor rollen met inhoud en karakter. Met zijn natuurlijke uitstraling en oprechte spel weet hij op te vallen op het podium. Dear Evan Hansen bracht hem in beeld bij een groter publiek en het is duidelijk dat er nog veel moois aankomt.
