Biography - Barry Beijer

Barry Beijer is een musicalacteur en theatermaker die al jaren meedraait in de top van het Nederlandse muziektheater. Hij begon zijn opleiding aan de Academie voor Lichte Muziek en studeerde in 2005 af aan de Frank Sanders’ Akademie voor Musicaltheater. Hij vertolkte de rol van Zazu in Disney’s The Lion King en stond hij op het podium in voorstellingen als Soldaat van Oranje, Jersey Boys, The Little Mermaid, Rembrandt de Musical, Pinokkio, Klaas Vaak, The Producers, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Kuifje en de Zonnetempel, Floddertje, De Sprookjesboom, The Beastly Bombing, Dagboek van een Herdershond en The Rocky Horror Show. Ook speelde hij in toneelkomedies als ‘Allo ‘Allo en Schone Schijn.

Naast zijn werk op het toneel is Barry ook actief als stemacteur. Hij sprak verschillende personages in voor kinderseries en leende zijn stem onder andere aan Jack in de Apple TV-serie Hallo Jack! Een wereld vol vriendelijkheid.
