Biography - Bente

Bente Fokkens, beter bekend als Bente, is een Nederlandse zangeres en songwriter die haar eerste stappen in de spotlights zette via The Voice Kids. Sindsdien ontwikkelde ze zich tot een vaste waarde binnen de nieuwe generatie Nederlandstalige artiesten. Met een herkenbare stem en een stijl die balanceert tussen pop, soul en R&B, scoorde ze nummers als ‘Nee Is Nee’, ‘Zolang We Dansen’ en ‘Als Ik Met De Wind Kon Dansen’. Haar muziek raakt actuele thema’s als zelfliefde, mentale gezondheid en persoonlijke groei, waarmee ze vooral jongeren aanspreekt.

Naast muziek is Bente ook actief als actrice, onder andere in Brugklas en de film Kappen!. Ze werkte samen met artiesten als Maan, Ronnie Flex en Froukje, en is regelmatig te zien op festivals en poppodia in Nederland. Met haar frisse sound, sterke teksten en authentieke uitstraling geldt Bente als een van de meest veelbelovende namen in de Nederlandstalige popmuziek.
