The concert experience is the spectacular live counterpart to the new BBC nature series *Blue Planet III*.
Specially selected footage from the series will be displayed on a 200 m² Ultra HD LED screen, while the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra performs the new score—composed by Hans Zimmer, Thom Lukas, and Laurentia Editha for Bleeding Fingers Music—live and in perfect synchronization.
*Blue Planet III* will soon take viewers beneath the ocean's surface once again. Next year, that brand-new underwater world will also come to life on an impressive scale in the Netherlands, featuring never-before-seen footage and an entirely new score. At the Ziggo Dome, the series' most stunning moments will be presented as an immersive live concert experience.
The 200 m² Ultra HD LED screen is roughly the size of a tennis court and ranks among the largest screens ever used for an orchestral tour. At the Ziggo Dome, the evening will be hosted by a Dutch presenter, whose name will be announced at a later date. The host will take the audience behind the scenes of the series, sharing the remarkable stories, challenges, and discoveries behind specially selected clips. These clips will then appear on the screen, accompanied live by the orchestra.
The score for *Blue Planet III* was composed by Academy Award® winner Hans Zimmer, together with Thom Lukas and Laurentia Editha for Bleeding Fingers Music. In doing so, the series continues the tradition of the multi-BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning series *Blue Planet* and *Planet Earth*, in which the music not only accompanies the natural world but has also become an integral part of the live concert experience. The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra performs under the baton of conductor Matthew Freeman, who previously conducted the acclaimed *Blue Planet* and *Planet Earth* live concerts.
As the live counterpart to the television series, *Blue Planet III Live in Concert* offers audiences the chance to experience the most breathtaking scenes together. Footage is displayed in 4K Ultra HD above the stage while the orchestra performs the score live, in perfect synchronization. This transforms the experience from something watched on a home screen into a shared live event.
