The Chippendales is the name of a group of male strippers. The group originated in a nightclub near New York called The Chippendales (after the chairs in the style of Thomas Chippendale). A well-built male animator is also sometimes referred to as Chippendale. There are also two films about the founders of the Chippendales, The Chippendales murder. This film tells the story of promoter Nick De Noia (1941-1987). Although Somen Banerjee, the owner of the nightclub, had the idea to have male strippers perform instead of females, it only became a success thanks to De Noia. It even became a world success with hordes of screaming women. However, De Noia took credit for himself and was killed by the nightclub owner. The second film: ''Just can't get enough'', tells the true story about the chippendales murders and highlights the origins, the murder of Nick De Noia and the further course until the death of Somen Banerjee.
