Isabelle Beernaert is a successful and well-known choreographer in the Netherlands and Belgium. She has produced several theater performances, including Tabula Rasa, Under my Skin and Red, Yellow & Blue.
Beernaert developed a strong classical and technical foundation during her studies at the Ballet School of Antwerp. In addition to her classic background, Isabelle developed herself in modern techniques. She professionalized in more ethnic techniques such as Spanish, Bulgarian, Indian and African dance styles. She combines this with up-to-date knowledge of modern styles such as mime, breakdance and more. She won the International Dance Award for modern jazz technique in France and at the time worked with several internationally renowned choreographers.
In addition to her knowledge, training, styling and visual arts, she forms a broad basis for the total experience that she expresses in the choreographies .
