American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ted Russell Kamp returns to the Netherlands and Belgium in September. Over the course of thirteen days, he will play thirteen concerts across a remarkably varied selection of venues. From music cafés and small listening rooms to a festival, an estate and even a ship: on this tour, Kamp is steering clear of the most obvious route through the well-known clubs.

It fits the way Kamp has been connecting with audiences in Europe for years. His Americana, country and roots music regularly finds its way to smaller venues, where the distance between artist and audience remains limited and the songs and stories take centre stage.

Alongside his solo career, Kamp has built an impressive track record as a musician, songwriter and producer. He is best known for his long-standing collaboration with Shooter Jennings and contributed to Grammy-winning albums by Tanya Tucker and Robert Randolph. Bluestown Music has also been following his solo work for quite some time. Albums such as ‘Down In The Den’, ‘Solitaire’ and ‘California Son’ have previously been featured on the site.
