Racoon is een Nederlandse band die sinds 1997 actief is. De band bestaat uit Bart van der Weide (zang), Stefan de Kroon (basgitaar), Dennis Huige (gitaar) en Paul Bukkens (drums).
De band begon met het spelen op muziekfestivals en stond tot aan 2002 onder contract bij Sony. Al snel kwam er een nieuwe producer en tekent Racoon een contract met PIAS. In 2005 brachten ze hun derde album uit 'Another day' wat wel anderhalf jaar in de hitlijsten zal staan. In 2008 en in 2011 kwamen hun vierde en vijfde album uit en hadden ze succes door heel Nederland. Racoon is dan ook een van de meest geboekte acts op Nederlandse festivals. Met hits als 'Liverpool rain', 'No Mercy' en 'Oceaan' bewijst Racoon zich keer op keer en zijn ze niet meer weg te slaan.
