Snow Patrol is a British-Irish rock band known worldwide for their emotional, melodic sound and timeless indie rock hits. The band, led by frontman Gary Lightbody, achieved international breakthrough with the album Final Straw (2003), featuring the hit single Run.
Their success grew even further with the album Eyes Open (2006), which produced classics such as Chasing Cars, one of the most recognisable ballads of the 2000s. With their blend of soaring guitars, powerful melodies and introspective lyrics, Snow Patrol built a massive international fanbase.
Over the years, the band released several successful albums including A Hundred Million Suns, Fallen Empires and Wildness. Since 2023, Snow Patrol has continued as a trio, consisting of Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly and Johnny McDaid. They continue to write new music and perform worldwide, delivering live shows filled with emotional intensity and sweeping rock moments.
