Adele tribute sensation Someone Like Her to give biggest show ever at AFAS Live

Popular Adele tribute band Someone Like Her proudly announces its biggest show yet. On Saturday 16 May 2026, the band will enchant the iconic AFAS Live with an evening full of captivating music, emotion and pure vocal power. Fans can look forward to a spectacular ode to one of the greatest singers of our time: Adele.

Someone Like Her is a seven-piece Belgian band with Laura Ramaekers as lead singer. Together they pay tribute to Adele's music, in which there is no imitation, but an authentic and profound experience. A months-long tour of Dutch theaters will start in September. Almost every show in this series is sold out - with more than 36,000 tickets sold. The popular theater tour will conclude with a grand finale in AFAS Live on May 16, 2026. This special show will be a grand affair, with a string ensemble joining the band to create an even more intimate atmosphere with warm sounds and beautiful harmonies.

Someone Like Her gained national fame through its participation in the TV program The Tribute: Battle of the Bands on SBS6. In the program, various tribute bands compete against each other for the title of 'best tribute band' and a spot on the podium during the concert The Tribute - Live in Concert in the Ziggo Dome. After weeks of intensive competition, Someone Like Her managed to qualify for the final and finished in a well-deserved second place.

The show in AFAS Live marks a new milestone in the band's rise. Expect an evening-filling program with live strings and an emotional journey through Adele's repertoire, which has touched millions of people worldwide. From intimate ballads that go straight to the heart to compelling pop songs that give you goosebumps. With classics like Someone Like You, Hello and Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like Her pays tribute to one of the greatest artists of our time.

Someone Like Her is een Nederlandse Adele-tribute band die sinds 2015 uitgroeide tot een professionele en veelgevraagde act in het theatercircuit. Met frontzangeres Laura Ramaekers, wiens stemgeluid opvallend dicht bij dat van Adele ligt, brengt de band een indrukwekkende en authentieke ode aan de Britse superster. De groep is in 2025 landelijk te zien op SBS6 in het tv-programma The Tribute: Battle of the Bands, waar meerdere toonaangevende tributebands strijden om een plek in de Ziggo Dome. Met meeslepende live-uitvoeringen en muzikale precisie weet Someone Like Her het publiek keer op keer te raken met een eerbetoon aan het repertoire van Adele.
