On Saturday 7 November 2026, the music of Michael Jackson will fill the historic concert hall of Felix Meritis in Amsterdam. During Stellae Suite, Mirabeau Strings brings his world-famous music back to four string instruments.
No big pop show, but two violins, viola and cello in an intimate concert hall where you can hear every nuance. Familiar melodies and rhythms therefore take on a completely different character: sometimes small and vulnerable, then powerful and full of energy.
The programme includes Human Nature, Stranger in Moscow, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, She’s Out of My Life, Earth Song, Dirty Diana, They Don’t Care About Us and Man in the Mirror.
Mirabeau Strings feels at home at the intersection of classical and pop. In arrangements specially created for string quartet, the musicians reveal how much is hidden in Michael Jackson’s music when vocals and large-scale production make way for four string instruments.
