LYING-DOWN CONCERT - EINAUDI & BEYOND
On Thursday, May 14, 2026, we present a total experience. By popular demand, we return to the exhibition space of Fabrique des Lumières in Amsterdam. Lie down on your own mat or air mattress and be surprised by the fusion of Monet's work and Einaudi's music, performed live by Bernd van den Bos on the grand piano.
Fabrique des Lumières
At Fabrique des Lumières, you don't just look at art: you step into it. Gigantic projections fill the walls, floor, and ceiling. Sound moves with the images. Everything around you comes alive. What normally hangs framed on the wall becomes an experience you walk through here.
During this Stellae lying-down concert, you enter the world of Claude Monet, founder of Impressionism, where it is not the image but the experience that matters. Lying down, surrounded by projections, a landscape of color and light unfolds. Brushstrokes become motion, shadows fade, hues shift. Harbors on the Normandy coast, the Seine at sunrise, the Japanese Bridge in Giverny—not just to look at, but to inhabit. The music completes this experience. Piano sounds from Einaudi, Debussy, and Ravel carry you into spring. No story. No rush. Only time, light, and attention.
