Stonks

Stonks is a Brussels-based indie rock band blending post-punk, noise, jazz and shoegaze into a distinctive and richly layered sound. Formed in 2021 by four musicians with a shared passion for alternative music, the band draws inspiration from the modern UK post-punk movement while forging a musical identity of its own. Raw guitars, restless rhythms and unexpected twists create a sound that is both intense and playful.

With their EP Badger, Stonks showcases a fearless approach to songwriting, moving effortlessly between explosive outbursts and quieter, introspective moments. Their music explores the uncertainties and contradictions of a new generation, while influences from bands such as Shame, Squid, Viagra Boys and Black Midi are transformed into something uniquely their own.

Driven by compelling live performances and an adventurous take on alternative rock, Stonks is quickly emerging as one of Belgium's most exciting new bands.
