As composers Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix developed their musical potential, they turned to Two Steps From Hell in 2006. They are specialized in music for the film industry, with a focus on movie trailers, a type of music that needs certain themes, but also needs to have an immediate effect. Their work appeared in the trailers of such sagas as Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Trek and many more. The success of their music increased rapidly, quickly spreading from the cinema to advertisements, television programs, sports competitions, and to any other kind of spectacle that required epic music.
In the beginning, Two Steps From Hell only made music for commercial use, but after continued growth, they released a collection of their greatest hits in May 2010 through the album Invincible. However, the fans mark longing for more music. Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix reinvented themselves and completely new songs, for both the creative industry and the general public. Many albums followed and the phenomenon Two Steps From Hell was born. These albums became so loved that their songs scored millions of views and streams and definitely reached the top of the sales charts both in physical and digital versions.
