Young Marco

Young Marco is the moniker of Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Marco Sterk. With his distinctive blend of trance, psychedelic house, techno and unexpected musical twists, he has become a firm fixture on the international electronic music scene. His high-energy DJ sets refuse to be confined by genre, moving effortlessly between euphoric club tracks, obscure gems and melodic surprises.

Alongside his work as a DJ and producer, Young Marco has been running his Safe Trip label since 2015, releasing both new music and rediscovered electronic classics. His discography includes the albums 'Biology' and 'Bahasa', while his remix credits feature artists such as Robyn, Sébastien Tellier, Marie Davidson and Metronomy. He is also one third of ambient project Gaussian Curve alongside Gigi Masin and Jonny Nash.

In 2023, Young Marco reached an even wider audience with 'What You Say?', a track that pairs a sample of Imogen Heap's 'Hide and Seek' with his signature sense of euphoria. After first making waves during his Boiler Room set at Dekmantel, the track went on to reach number one on Beatport. From Amsterdam clubs to festivals around the world, Young Marco continues to do what he does best: defy expectations and take the dancefloor somewhere unexpected.
