The Amsterdamse Bostheater is not easily accessible by public transport. The nearest bus stop is Amstelveenseweg, around a 40-minute walk away. Visitors travelling by train are advised to hire an OV-fiets (public transport rental bike) at Amsterdam Zuid station. For more information, visit the NS (Dutch Railways) website.

Cycling Route
From Amstelveenseweg, follow Bosbaanweg, then turn left at the T-junction. Continue with the water on your right and turn left halfway onto Duizendmeterweg. At the end of the road, you'll find the bicycle parking area. From there, it's about 100 metres to Het Boshuis and another 100 metres to the venue entrance. Please note: The Amsterdamse Bos is largely unlit after dark. For your own safety, make sure your bike lights are working properly.

The Amsterdamse Bostheater is located at De Duizendmeterweg 7, 1182 DC Amstelveen.

From Amstelveenseweg, turn onto Bosbaanweg. At the T-junction, turn left into the Amsterdamse Bos and continue along Bosbaanweg with the water on your right. About halfway along, turn left onto Duizendmeterweg and follow the road to the end, where parking is available. After approximately 100 metres, you'll find Het Boshuis on your right. A little further on, you'll find the public toilets on your left. The venue entrance is another 100 metres ahead, at the top of a small hill.

Please note: During rowing events, Bosbaanweg is closed. The Amsterdamse Bostheater can still be reached via an alternative route.

Bicycle parking is available at the end of Duizendmeterweg.

By Car
Several free public car parks are available. View the parking map to see where you can park.

The Duizendmeterweg car park is the largest but is also the busiest and usually fills up first, especially on concert days. The Meerzicht and Berkenhoek car parks are approximately the same walking distance from the Amsterdamse Bostheater. Het Groot Kinderbad car park is slightly further away.

A request from the Amsterdamse Bostheater
"If you're parking at Duizendmeterweg, we'd kindly ask you to reverse into your parking space. It may seem unusual, but the car park can get very busy after concerts. Parking this way helps visitors leave more quickly and reduces traffic congestion."

Wheelchair users
The Amsterdamse Bostheater is accessible to wheelchair users. A standard concert ticket can be booked through our website.After receiving your booking confirmation, please email publiek@bostheater.nl to request a wheelchair space. Requests can be made up to one day before the event.Please note: A request for a wheelchair space does not serve as your admission ticket.

Accessible Toilets
A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available on site.

Hearing impairment
Headphones are available on request for visitors with a hearing impairment. To request a set, email publiek@bostheater.nl.

Assistance Dogs
Assistance and guide dogs with a recognisable harness or jacket are permitted by the venue.

Parking
Accessible parking spaces are located approximately 200 metres from the entrance to the Amsterdamse Bostheater. If this distance is not manageable, visitors can be dropped off closer to the venue. As this is a pedestrian-only area, access is only possible with assistance from the Amsterdamse Bostheater. To arrange this, email publiek@bostheater.nl.

Please note: These accessible parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance, as they are part of a public car park serving the entire Amsterdamse Bos.
